Do you celebrate New Year’s Eve with your kids? We do every year and it’s one of our favorite things to do together as a family! We reuse a lot of the same decor every year so that I’m not having to buy a bunch of new stuff, but the one thing we do buy each year is a balloon garland! In the garland we put ten different activities inside specially numbered balloons, and every half hour the kids get to pop a balloon and we do that activity! The activities can vary from year to year, but some of them include: confetti poppers, banging pots and pans, glow stick dance party, silly string fights, etc!
We always end the night with a milk and cookies toast, and this year my sweet friend Emily made the kids their own personalized flutes with their names on them! She has a small shop and you can check her out here. I dipped the flutes in frosting and sprinkles and then topped them with cookies. It was a HUGE hit (the kids are still talking about it) so this is something we will definitely keep in the rotation for next year!
Cheers to making 2021 the best year yet!!!!
Happy New Year,
Jenni S.
